Leadership requires walking the line between telling people what to do and giving them the space to decide for themselves to do what you were going to tell them.

And telling them the exact details everytime of what to do is called micro-management... or perhaps it's just OCD... either case, yuck.

Surely you learned this at an early age from witnessing my repeated refusals to do anything i was told to, purely on the basis that i was told to do it by someone else and it wasn't my idea
