This is so true. Over the last months this has happend to me much too often. I'm always angry about myself afterwards since I don't give them the respect they deserve.

Sometimes it's better to just tell them you won't have time to meet and rather take some more time a few weeks, or months, later and be able to focus on them.

There is nothing worse than talking with somebody for an hour and get the feeling that you could have also talked to parking meter (as we say it in Germany).
