David Cronenberg is the subject of an insightful profile in today's New York Times Magazine: "If you admit to the possibilities of the most horrific things, then maybe they won't happen."

Agreed. Probably the best thing I read in both the NYT and the SF Chron today.

TORO magazine did a nice profile of Cronenberg as well. Covers some of the same issues, not as trenchant, but from a slightly different (Canadian) perspective.
